Learning CPR: My Latest Effort In Bringing Credibility to Reiki

Just a quick note to talk about something I love — adding credibility to the traditional Japanese art of Reiki.

ICRT

One of the things I do to make sure I treat my Reiki practice in the most professional manner possible is to purchase an annual membership to the International Center for Reiki Training’s Reiki Membership Association. They provide a code of conduct, ICRT manuals for my classes, a few other things, and a nifty certificate for my wall. You (my clients) can rest assured I follow a certain standard of quality in my sessions and classes.

CPR

Another thing I’ve always wanted to do that I finally got to do over the weekend is learn CPR. I think everyone who works in the healing arts should have this training and it should be current. I had the privilege of learning CPR thanks to a new part-time job. As many of my clients see me for a variety of reasons, some health-related, I knew CPR would be a good skill to have. So I’m now current on CPR and first aid.

Feel safe on my table knowing you have a trained professional giving you a Reiki treatment.
