It’s Friday — the perfect time to talk about self-care!

As we head into the weekend, the question is this:

What will you do to enhance your own self-care this weekend?

If you’re in need of ideas, here are some:

  • Long, hot bath with candles and essential oils
  • Take a nap
  • Put up your winter clothes and create closet space
  • Read a book with the rain as your soundtrack
  • Massage your feet with a scented lotion

The best part of each of the suggestions above is each can take no longer than 30 minutes. Reading a book or cleaning your closet can take a minimum of 30 minutes. It depends on what you need — a long break or a short one?

For me, my daily dedication to self-care is reading the Bible, studying A Course in Miracles and doing some exercise, which may include Pilates or yoga.
